Markéta Vokáčová

My name is Markéta Vokáčová and I was born in Jablonec nad Nisou. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of Organisms at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, in 2023. During my studies, I focused mainly on genetics and developmental biology. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology of Eukaryotes. My diploma project is carried out in the Laboratory of Gene Expression under the supervision of Dr. Radek Šindelka, where I have the opportunity to gain insight into laboratory research and acquire experience with various experimental techniques. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and playing the piano.
