Biography

I completed my B.Sc in Molecular and Cell biology at Palacky University in Olomouc. My thesis was focused on STR genotyping and High resolution melting analysis. Now I am studying at Charles University in Prague in the Master`s program of Genetics, Molecular Biology and Virology. In the Laboratory of Gene Expression I am working on my diploma thesis mentored by my supervisor Radek Sindelka, Ph.D.. My project is focused on the molecular mechanism of embryonic wound healing. I am using Xenopus laevis as a model organism and I am trying to block some parts of the signaling pathway for healing to see what will be the effect, both at the cellular level and also at the molecular level.

My greatest interests include traveling and exploring new cultures. I enjoy spending time with a good film or a book. I am also keen of taking photos, history or public relations and politics.
